Self Worth

What have you been working on?

Growing in life is an endless journey.

I’ve been working on – or having fun with – my poetry, writing and various videos.

With challenges in different teacher roles, I’ve been working on seeing what’s directly in front of me and asking, “how is this serving me?” There are no coincidences.

I’ve been practicing being an authentic person day by day and offering grace to myself.

I’ve been practicing sitting with the discomfort instead of reacting/acting impulsively as I might otherwise do.

Instead of jumping over or going around the same pothole, I’ve been working on traveling down a different street.

I’ve been working on filling up my cup with self validation and self worth.

I’ve been practicing sitting in the silence and listening.

I’ve been working on sending love to everyone, including those I don’t understand or feel triggered by. Imperfectly, of course.

I have been practicing being unapologetically Me. People pleasing is losing its grip.

I’ve been working on being ok with not being ok.

I’ve been working on feeling happy for others and releasing the competition. We are mirrors after all.

Self-love and acceptance are a lifelong journey. We’re born from love, but life’s chaos can make us forget this truth. Remembering our inherent love and light can be a transformative process that takes a lifetime.

This life is too short. It’s important to do what we love, what we are passionate about. And when we are unsure of what that is, trust the process of our life.

I’ve got everything I need.

That’s what I’m working on anyway. What about you?
